The article genetic history of East Asians explains the genetic makeup of the East Asian peoples. The Xiongnu , possibly a Turkic , Iranian , Mongolic , Yenisseian or multi-ethnic people, were a confederation of nomadic peoples who, according to ancient Chinese sources , inhabited the eastern Asian Steppe from the 3rd century BC to the late 1st century AD. Over the past decade, Chinese archaeologists have published several reviews regarding the results of excavations in Xinjiang. They imply the genetic composition of Xiongnu's supreme ruling class. Particularly interesting are the tombs in the cemetery at Heigouliang, Xinjiang the Black Gouliang cemetery, also known as the summer palace of the Xiongnu king , east of the Barkol basin, near the city of Hami.

While there are some similarities, for me it is easy to tell that someone was raised in Japan versus China, and sometimes Korea as well. However, in China, the handshake has actually become a common greeting, with only a slight head nod rather than the traditional bow. I noticed this a little in my experiences with Chinese people, but especially with the Korean and Japanese. Another mannerism that I noticed in everyday life was the volume and tone of speaking. When considering their appearance in everyday life, fashion between the three countries varies somewhat as well. Modern-day Japanese men and women typically prefer subtle hues, often with dresses and skirts for women and tight pants for men.
Origin of the Koreans: a population genetic study
Koreans are thought to be an ethnic group of admixed northern and southern subgroups. However, the exact genetic origins of these two remain unclear. In addition, the past admixture is presumed to have taken place on the Korean peninsula, but there is no genomic scale analysis exploring the origin, composition, admixture, or the past migration of Koreans. Here, 88 Korean genomes compared with 91 other present-day populations showed two major genetic components of East Siberia and Southeast Asia. Afterward, the current genetic foundation of Koreans may have been established through a rapid admixture with ancient Southern Chinese populations associated with Iron Age Cambodians.
