When he was a small boy, his mother took him to see Sugar Child Robinson, a child piano prodigy and also the famous country singer Ernest Tubb. Young Evans was so impressed, that he vowed to someday enter show business and took his first step toward that goal by forming a street corner harmony group when he was only 11 years old. By the time he entered high school, Ernest had learned to play the piano a little at Settlement Music School and could do a number of vocal impressions. He also went to South Philadelphia High School with his friend Fabian Forte, who would have show business success of his own.
Rock'n'roll singer famous for The Twist had been seeking half a billion dollars over the penis-measuring app. Rock'n'roll star Chubby Checker , best known for his version of The Twist , has settled the lawsuit he brought against Hewlett-Packard over a "penis-measuring" app. Checker, real name Ernest Evans, had been seeking half a billion dollars from Hewlett-Packard for "irreparable damage and harm" caused by the Chubby Checker , an app for Hewlett-Packard's Palm OS platform. Checker had claimed in that the penis-measuring app had violated the Communications Decency Act , a claim which was thrown out of federal court in August last year. His claim against trademark infringement, however, was allowed to proceed and was scheduled for October.

Evans aspired to become a performer from a young age and eventually caught a small break after graduating from high school making novelty records that were impressions of singers like Elvis Presley and Fats Domino. He was Domino was born Antoine Domino Jr. According to NPR , Domino had hits on the charts 63 times between and , outselling other popular artists of the day, like Buddy Holly and Chuck Berry. That influence was not lost on American Bandstand , filmed in Philly, and on which Domino made numerous appearances throughout its run.
